Become a Volunteer Docent

Interested in learning about water conservation, water wise desert landscaping, and about our most precious natural resource: water?

The ambassador corps of volunteer docents for the Joshua Basin Water District interact with people at many levels: at community Earth Day events, health fairs, giving garden tours, greeting visitors and shoppers at the local Farmers’ Market in Joshua Tree, assisting our mascots “Drew Water” and “Tank the Tortoise”…and more!  The Water District provides free educational seminars for its team of docents routinely throughout the year.
