Joshua Basin Water District is a special district serving more than 5,665 customers. A five-member elected Board represents the District. Directors are elected by division elections representing 5 different areas within the 96 square miles of the District boundaries located in San Bernardino County. Elected directors serve 4-year terms and work to establish policies that employees carry out under the direction of the General Manager. Board members may also be appointed under special circumstances.
The San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters serves as the election officer and is responsible for all candidates' filings and the issuance and acceptance of nomination papers.
