The District will assess and determine the location of the water meter installation for the parcel listed above. If the customer would like to discuss the meter location prior to the installation, the customer will need to notify the District of their request in advance. The District will have final authority as to the placement of the water meter, per Article 2.4 of the District’s Rules and Regulations.
You will be required to install a backflow prevention assembly within 30 days of your new meter installation to prevent the pollution and/or cross contamination in our water supply. Backflow devices are the sole responsibility of the customer, and will need to be tested by a certified backflow tester annually. The District’s Development Team will follow up with more information.
