Public comment is welcomed during meetings. A three-minute limit is imposed on public comments. Comments will become part of the board meeting minutes. If a member of the public wishes to comment on an agenda item, they may do so by:
- Attending the live board meeting in person;
- By emailing email@example.com; or
- By calling our office at 760-366-8438.
Please note that comments sent by email or phone must be received no later than two (2) hours before the start of the meeting.
During the “Public Comment” portion of the agenda, members of the public may address the Board with matters within the Board’s jurisdiction that are not listed on the agenda. State law prohibits the Board of Directors from discussing or taking action on items not included on the agenda.
Members of the public will have the opportunity to comment on any item listed on the agenda when it is addressed on the agenda.
Customer concerns cannot be addressed at the Board level by the Board unless placed on the agenda. Customers are encouraged to work with staff on any issues or concerns, providing the opportunity to explore solutions by both parties thoroughly.
